The Dot Flare is cut with a seam placed at the natural waist and a full circle skirt from there. The waist pulls in. The skirt swings out. It creates a shape from the construction, not from how tightly it grips you. If you have been returning dresses because of how they looked on your actual body rather than on the hanger, that is the cut problem this dress fixes.
The fit can be snug through the bodice. If you are between sizes or prefer a little room, size up. The skirt section has more forgiveness than the bodice because of the circle cut.
If you order and it does not fit, you have 90 days to return it with no questions asked.
This is a mini dress designed to sit well above the knee. At 5'7" and above it will be quite short. If you prefer a longer hemline this dress is not the right fit for you. If you are comfortable with a mini length, the circle skirt means it stays where it lands rather than riding up further.
